For Your Own Ducking Good

For Your Own Ducking Good

Our ducks line up (or sleep) on the driveway, and everyone from our guests to UPS has to stop or carefully drive around them. Our pool guys get out of their truck and chase them. All of this reinforces the ducks’ behavior because they sense no danger. It’s a very bad and dangerous habit, particularly in a rainstorm or dark night.

Your clients get into bad and dangerous habits, and you can’t afford to enable them like these ducks. Your clients may be chronically late, or non-supportive, or overlook shoddy work, and lie to clients and each other. You need to stop that. These are bad habits because they’re dysfunctional and will undermine you, and dangerous habits because they can be fatal (to you and your income).

Get your ducks in a row.
