Pining

Pining

The Governor of Rhode Island, Gina Raimondo, was quite popular when first elected, and now at the conclusion of her second and final term is rated the “least most popular governor in the US.” Recently, she changed the habit of placing a huge, live Christmas Tree in the Capitol Building because the first one last year died (supposedly of the heat, but I think it was depression). The second one made it. Even former Governor Lincoln Chafee, who insisted of the Brown University politically correct (and delusional) “Holiday Tree” had a real “holiday tree.”

As a consultant, the answer this year is obvious: Hire a few of us to form a committee to determine how to keep a real tree alive (CRAP: Committee Reinvigorating A Pine). I’m figuring a $6 million allocation would do it. I’ll accept a couple of people for my committee. Volunteers?
