The Most Valuable Gift?
It’s awkward—and often illegal or against corporate ethics rules—to send clients gifts at the holidays. But what if your “gift” for your best clients were individualized value unique to their market or organization?
What if you recommended a better source of applicants for jobs, or real estate you saw appropriate for expansion, or a competitor’s weakness, or an inexpensive product extension?
Don’t make it a “blanket” offering to your lists. Isolate your top buyers and send some ideas of value to each. Hell, feel free to to that for me! I’d consider it very thoughtful, whether I used the idea or not, and so will your own clients.
