How to Write A Proposal (and not be taken)

How to Write A Proposal (and not be taken)

My long-time, high-selling book, How to Write A Proposal That’s Accepted Every Timeis being offered by “resellers” on Amazon for $400, $600, even $800! It’s available, new, from my book store on my site (summitconsulting.com) for $149, plus shipping, or from the publisher at the same price (Kennedy Information, Peterborough, NH). That includes a CD with proposal templates.

I have nothing to do with these ridiculous, inflated prices, and you’d be foolish to pay them. Just buy the book on my site, and it will pay for itself in no time (people experience tens of thousands of dollars in increased proposal acceptances at higher fees almost immediately).

You can purchase the book and have me read it to you for $20,575, plus first class travel. Let me know.

    Alan,

I read this post and it aroused my curiosity so I checked Amazon.com and found a reseller wanting $640 for the book the condition described as used very good.

So I sent them an email saying I could get the book directly from the author brand new for $149 and asked him to explain the almost $500 difference. When (if) I get an answer

    I’ll let you know.

Actually, the $20K deal is tempting.

I always assumed those Amazon reseller prices were “value-based pricing” 🙂

I wrote to Amazon and they told me they “cannot control reseller prices.” I just don’t want to be associated with anyone being ripped off like that. On the other end are people concerned about how much air mail will cost to other countries, which tells me they’re not ready for the book!

These “resellers” are simply running a scam on the unsuspecting.
